Spicy Pumpkin Soup

Without going into a huge story about my entire family, here’s a recipe for Spicy pumpkin soup. The reason I say that is because I have seen endless meanderings before many bloggers finally come to the point of the post, which is the Food. I might be guilty of doing the same sometimes. Then again, I checked and I don’t ramble very much. More straight to the point, I would say. Take a look here  .

I dint take pictures for this but will definitely post one soon with my new camera! In the meantime, look at these pumpkin recipes .

Ingredients

jalapeno powder

pumpkin(roasted in oven) 1/4

1.5 cups milk

coriander leaves – a handful

fresh ginger + garlic(1 tsp each)

salt to taste

chilli powder(substitute with green chilies for a different taste)

Directions:

Roast the pumpkin in the oven for an hour at 350 F . Do other things in the meantime, maybe a little dance.

Then, Scoop it out and put it in a blender. Add the coriander, jalapeno, ginger, garlic and blend it with some water. Heat a pot to cook the purée you just made. Add the blended pumpkin to it. Once it cooks, serve in pretty bowls with some coriander on top ( or not depending on your taste).

Procrastination in action – What an oxymoron !

Oxymoron, indeed. I have yet to update my blog with posts that have been hanging out in the draft section for over a year now. I have some great ideas(that’s what I think) but they don’t seem to materialize on paper or in this case on the RT editor. I think I should go back to writing in journals/diaries. Suits me better like many people who grew up in the 90’s( I am so not revealing my age). I stopped writing just a minute ago and was off to my dreamland wandering and wondering among other things if I should go make some more coffee/tea. Sometimes, I just assume that drinking more coffee will jolt me back to reality and I will actually end up doing something constructive. Bah !! Humbug! You say ? Continue reading

Post A Week Challenge

Sooo…. WordPress is having a post a week and post a day for 2011. I decided to sign up for post a week contest. It seems like a nice challenge to give oneself.  I found many bloggers signing up for the post a day challenge. Well, good luck to them 🙂 .

Apart from the fitness routine that I am following these days,  my mind needs a workout too.  So, I am going to make use of “The DailyPost” to help me along the way, including asking for help when I need it and encouraging others when I can.

If you already read my blog, I hope you’ll encourage me with comments and likes, and good will along the way.

Here’s to creating meaningful conversations and exploring new ideas.
